Curriculum – Students who Hold an Associates Degree in Architecture

Students who hold a Two-Year Associate Degree in Architecture receive advanced standing in the program. Students are required to complete 84 credit hours to receive the B.S. Arch. degree in this track.

Conditions:

  1. A.A. degree students are admitted with Junior status.
  2. A.A. degree students who have not successfully completed courses in history of architecture will be required to take Arch 135/136/235.
  3. A minimum grade point average of 2.70 is required for admission to the program.
  4. Students who have not successfully completed courses in statics and strength of materials will be required to take Arch 321. Students who have successfully completed a course equivalent to Arch 322 elsewhere may subsititute a program elective.
  5. Students who have successfully completed courses equaivalent to any of the specific courses listed above will not be required to retake those courses, but must fulfull the listed credit totals through approved electives.
  6. No courses taken in fulfillment of the requirement for the A.A. degree may be used toward the B.A. Arch degree.
