Real Estate Development
Program of Study

The full-time and part-time Master of Architecture programs with a concentration in Real Estate Development consist of 61 semester credit hours to be earned in design, history/theory, technology, planning and professional practice. The academic and work background of each student entering the program is thoroughly reviewed. Based on this review, a degree program will be individually tailored to fit the needs of the student.

All courses in the Master of Architecture degree with a concentration in Real Estate Development are taught entirely in the evenings, allowing significant flexibility for students.

Students with a four-year undergraduate preprofessional degree in architecture are expected to complete the coursework for the M.Arch. degree in two years when enrolled full-time. Students with a B.S. in Architecture from The Catholic University of America, and students with an accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree (B.Arch.), are eligible for advanced standing and may accelerate through the program. Students who have an undergraduate degree in a field other than architecture enroll in a three-year program.

For a more accelerated track through the program, courses in the concentration are available within the Summer Institute for Architecture. Course schedules are flexible. Students are encouraged to develop a schedule that best suits their needs. See below for the following Programs of Study:

*Depending upon enrollment, Comprehensive Building Studio may be offered as an afternoon course. Contact the school for up-to-date information.
