Fabrication Lab
The Fabrication Lab, located in the basement of Crough Center, supports undergraduate and graduate students in coursework and independent projects. Facilities include a 1,000sqft woodshop filled with furniture grade fabrication equipment, a cold metal working shop, a three-axis CNC Router, two laser cutters, a powder based 3D printer, and a recently renovated 200sqft finishing room. Students are encouraged to work with a wide variety of materials not limited to wood, metals, plaster, concrete, plastic and foam. All incoming students are required to take a fabrication lab orientation. Graduate students with shop experience can apply for positions as shop monitors.
