All candidates:

An application for CUA graduate admission

A transcript(s), in English, from an accredited undergraduate degree program(s). A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.8 is required, 3.0 is preferred.

In addition, those applying to the full MSFM program (not "non-degree" candidates) must submit the following:

A current resume/CV identifying experience, if any, in facilities management or related disciplines
A personal statement: A sample of writing demonstrating ability to communicate clearly
A letter of recommendation from a current or recent professor, employer, or client

Some applicants, as described below, must also submit the additional documents listed here:

For applicants who have an FM credential (CFM, FMP, etc.) and seek advanced standing in the program: Submit evidence of certification.
For applicants who seek scholarship funding: Submit GRE scores of at least 295, with 310 preferred, taken within the last 5 years.
For applicants whose native language is not English: Submit TOEFL scores as required by the university. Click here

A portfolio is not required.

Government Employees

CUA FM is coordinating with multiple governmental agencies to facilitate enrollment by their employees. Those who are interested in applying are encouraged to contact the FM program director to discuss opportunities.
