The process and final design of the first LBC Net-Zero Energy Building project in the District of Columbia for the renovation of the American Geophysical Union Headquarters will be presented with a discussion to follow. The LBC NZE Building also requires projects to meet criteria for: Limits to Growth, Beauty and Spirit, and Inspiration and Education. In addition, MGAC, Owner’s Representative for the project, has implemented a CUArch internship program over the duration of the 2-year project. Presenters include Hickok Cole, Interface Engineering, and the CUArch interns working on the project - with Q&A.
